Graduate Pays Tribute to His Father’s Career by Bringing a Gas Tank to Diploma Ceremony

Monfardini completed his studies at Universidad Federal de Ouro Preto in November 2024, graduating with a degree in production engineering. In the footage, he appears deeply moved as he initially carries the gas cylinder on his shoulder before raising it triumphantly above his head. Fortunately, his father and the rest of his family were present to witness this exhilarating milestone in Monfardini’s life.
Later, the graduate disclosed that the tribute was inspired by his mother, honoring the 26 years his father devoted to the gas company’s commercial sector. “I chose to honor him because I understand the hardships and commitment he displayed throughout his life to enable me to reach the diploma I’d always aspired to,” he expressed. “It was an incredibly special moment.”

But the significant moment has finally come: I am officially a Production Engineer!” he announced on Instagram. “It has been five years filled with dedication, challenges, and immense learning, and now I can confidently affirm that the journey was worth every effort. Thank you to everyone who stood by me, supporting and believing in me. This is merely the beginning of a new chapter, and I eagerly look forward to what the future has in store for me!”
