Their innovative 25° Ruler Fold-X might just be the ruler to surpass all others.
What makes the 25° Ruler Fold-X particularly unique? For starters, each tick mark is labeled and numbered, eliminating the need to pause and count—it’s all right there. One can’t help but wonder why this isn’t the norm for every ruler. Furthermore, the 25° in its title indicates the smart 25° ergonomic incline that enhances the readability of the numbers—you don’t need to position yourself directly above the ruler to view them. To enhance clarity, the numbers are presented in a bold, clean typeface that stands out.
Driven by a commitment to crafting sustainable products, Orangered Life has prioritized an often-overlooked eco-friendly principle: designing items that don’t need frequent replacement due to fragility or obsolescence. The 25° Ruler Fold-X is constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum, rendering it lightweight yet capable of enduring heavy usage. Also, the tick marks are laser-engraved, ensuring they won’t fade or wear off as time passes.
Recognizing the mobile lifestyle of many creatives, Orangered Life has designed their ruler to be foldable. The central circle not only connects both halves of the ruler but also features marks for measuring actual angles without the need for tracing or additional tools.
Additionally, there’s no concern about the ruler being difficult to open or shifting during use. “It’s engineered with just the right degree of resistance: smooth to open, yet not excessively loose,” Orangered Life notes. “It remains stable even when partially unfolded, preventing it from sliding or flopping. We invested considerable effort into balancing easy movement with a secure, satisfying grip.” Moreover, its underside is sufficiently raised to facilitate easy handling, and it has been designed with a safe edge for use with an X-acto knife.
The 25° Ruler Fold-X is offered in three colors (blue, black, and silver) and three sizes: small, measuring 6″ when folded and 12″ when fully opened; medium, at 8″ when folded and 16″ when extended; and large, at 10″ folded and 20″ when expanded. Nonetheless, its one drawback compared to standard rulers is the requirement to select between metric (centimeters) and imperial (inches), rather than having both measurements on the same device.
