
Bard MFA Class of 2026 Thesis Exhibition Presentation
The Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts at Bard College (Bard MFA) is set to present “Double Take: the Class of 2026 Thesis Exhibition,” showcasing the final projects of third-year MFA students at the Bard Exhibition Center/UBS Gallery in Red Hook, New York. The thesis events kick off with performances at Olin Hall on the Bard College campus on Friday, July 11. Following this, the exhibition’s opening reception will be held on Saturday, July 12, from 1–4 pm, and the exhibition will continue through Sunday, July 20.
The participating artists from the Bard MFA Class of 2026 include Juan Cisneros, Antonio Darden, Caroline David, Quinha Faria, Talia Fox, Lizzy Gabay, Shem Goldman, Bryce Hackford, Zoe Hamersly, Jeffrey Heiman, Rosa Maria de los Heros, Adrien Howard, Estefanía Landesmann, Alma Laprida, David Lindsay, Jonas Monka, Frances Grace Mortel, Daisy Noyes, Martha Schnee, Cameron Sneddon, Maia Taber Ayerza, and Maria VMier.
The “Double Take” exhibition will be held from July 11–20, 2025, with thesis performances scheduled for Friday, July 11, at 6 pm at Olin Hall, located at 35 Henderson Circle Drive, Red Hook, New York 12571. The opening reception is on Saturday, July 12, from 1-4 pm at UBS Gallery, 29 O’Callaghan Lane, Red Hook, New York 12571.
The exhibition is coordinated by Mike R. Curran, a curator and arts writer originally from Maine, who has lived in the Twin Cities for the past decade. He is currently based in Kingston, New York, where he is pursuing a master’s degree at the Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College.
Established in 1981 as a pioneering low-residency MFA program, The Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts at Bard College integrates students and faculty across six disciplines: Moving Image, Music/Sound, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, and Writing. The program offers a distinctive educational experience with three 8-week summer sessions on the Bard College campus, interspersed with independent study periods providing a rich, interdisciplinary artistic community.
