Boy Exhibits Remarkable “Aura Farming” Methods on a Fast-Moving Boat

Some individuals exude a certain effortless coolness, and then there’s Rayyan Arkan Dikha—known as the “Aura Farming Boy” or the “Indonesian Boat Racing Kid.” Dikha has showcased that he operates on an entirely different level with his unique style, grace, and self-assurance. In clips that have gained massive popularity on TikTok and Instagram, the 11-year-old from Indonesia stands at the front of a fast-moving boat, sporting sunglasses and traditional black attire while executing a serene, fluid combination of fist rolls and arm swipes. His demeanor is so unruffled that observers have labeled it “aura farming.”

There are a few aspects to unpack in this trending phenomenon. The first is the concept of aura farming. If you’re not aware, this term describes behavior wherein someone engages in actions to appear cool, or to emit a certain vibe or presence. (It is frequently associated with anime characters.) Dikha projects a veddy performance, making the aura farming label quite fitting.

So, what was the reason for the boy being at the bow of the boat? Dikha was acting as the Togak Luan, the dancer positioned at the front during the Pacu Jalur boat race, a historical festival celebrated in Riau every August for Independence Day. The Togak Luan guides the rowers using dance. Dikha’s choreography was spontaneous, demonstrating his instinctive ability to perform under pressure while radiating calmness, confidence, and aesthetic appeal. The impact is heightened as he does this in front of rowers who are making considerable efforts with each stroke.

Dikha’s performance was initially shared on TikTok in January 2025 but only gained traction in June 2025 when social media users remixed a clip to “Young Black & Rich” by Melly Mike. Since that time, it has spurred dance tribute videos from individuals globally, including celebrities such as Travis Kelce and Steve Aoki. Dikha is also receiving local recognition. He has been appointed as a Tourism Ambassador of Riau Province and has made appearances on national television and at events in Jakarta.
