Cherished ‘Project Pabst’ Festival Commemorates Music, Beer, and Pacific Northwest Heritage
A cherished music festival is making its way back to Portland, Oregon. Project Pabst, a two-day extravaganza of music, beer, and the Pacific Northwest, is poised to enchant attendees with an eclectic roster showcasing musical legends, indie gems, and up-and-coming performers. Scheduled for Saturday, July 26, to Sunday, July 27, festival attendees can look forward to shows by headliners like Iggy Pop, Devo, Death Cab for Cutie, and Japanese Breakfast. Enhancing the musical affair is Pabst Blue Ribbon, a beer with deep roots in American history for almost 200 years.
Pabst Blue Ribbon, often referred to as PBR, embodies a genuine essence that resonates through generations and pairs perfectly with Project Pabst. After a seven-year break, the festival joyously made its comeback to Portland in 2024, marking an exciting reunion. In addition to music, the festival offers immersive art exhibits, local artisans, and a selection of the Pacific Northwest’s lively food culture, highlighting creativity in various forms and supporting independent communities.
While soaking in the festival vibes, attendees can also delve into Portland’s rich cultural tapestry. A trip to the Alberta Arts District or the peaceful Portland Japanese Garden, an impressive display of Japanese garden design away from Japan, enriches the experience. Portland’s culinary offerings draw upon the Pacific Northwest’s plentiful produce, presenting a wide array of culinary delights. All this unfolds against the breathtaking scenery of the Columbia River Gorge and Mount Hood.
Tickets for Project Pabst remain available. Grab your one-day and weekend passes now and get ready for an unforgettable musical adventure.
