Food Artist Makes Treats That Look Like Her Dog
Everyone has their own distinctive way of showing love for their pets. Whether it’s lavishing them with toys and goodies or enveloping them in kisses and snuggles, there are countless methods to demonstrate affection and care for your furry friend. South Korean pet-owner Kim Da-som has discovered her special way of expressing her gratitude for her charming dog named Jin Mokhwa. She crafts edible treats inspired by his fluffy visage.
Jin Mokhwa is a Bichon, a delightful, teddy-like breed celebrated for their fluffy white coat. Motivated by Jin Mokhwa’s adorableness, Da-som recently crafted artistic rice cakes that perfectly represent the pup’s cute characteristics, utilizing seaweed and kimchi to form the eyes, nose, and cheeks. She also concocted some cookies inspired by the dog, and even prepared a soup featuring white radishes adorned with sesame seeds to serve as Jin Mokhwa’s eyes and nose.
Da-som showcases her imaginative recipes on Instagram, where you can spot Jin Mokhwa sitting next to treats that resemble him. She also maintains a YouTube channel, where her videos thoroughly explain all the steps to creating her culinary art. In a recent video showcasing her technique for making dog-themed rice balls and rabbit-shaped gimbap, the delightful Jin Mokhwa can be observed in the kitchen, attentively watching her as she prepares.
