Wildlife Photography Project Effectively Secures Funding for Conservation Initiatives

Tackling the seriousness of threatened wildlife is most powerful when approached directly, a concept championed by Prints for Wildlife. Since 2020, this group has successfully generated over $2.1 million to aid wildlife and natural conservation through stunning photography. Their newest project, Edition Hope, which launched on August 21, could be their most ambitious effort to date.

Curating prints contributed by more than 200 photographers, Edition Hope directs net proceeds to Conservation International. This compilation showcases pieces from both well-known and rising artists, highlighting a variety of animal species. From lions quenching their thirst at a watering hole to giraffes joyfully frolicking and elephants engaging in playful tussles, each photograph embodies the splendor of nature.

Edition Hope sets itself apart not only via its breadth but also by emphasizing how worldwide conservation efforts have been compromised by budget reductions. Past environmental safeguards, such as those administered by the Environmental Protection Agency during the Trump era, experienced notable reversals.

“In 2025, the crisis isn’t a virus—it’s a retreat of essential funding for wildlife and conservation,” states Pie Aerts, co-founder of Prints for Wildlife. The photography in Edition Hope aspires to inform and involve onlookers regarding challenges such as climate change and deforestation, exemplified by Rahul Sachdev’s poignant “Blazing Through.”

Daniela Raik, the interim CEO of Conservation International, highlights the mutual reliance of nature and human beings: “When nature flourishes, so do we.”

Limited to 50 editions, each print is available for $125 until September 21, 2025. For additional information, visit Prints for Wildlife’s [website](https://www.printsforwildlife.org/).
