**Exploring Future-Oriented Approaches to Textile Production and Consumption**

The Cotsen Textile Traces Study Center will be hosting a significant virtual roundtable on November 6-7 that explores the future of textile production and consumption. This event, accessible and free for the public, will feature a global panel of scholars, designers, and cultural practitioners who will discuss innovative strategies in the textile industry. These conversations will delve into both traditional methods and cutting-edge technologies, focusing on sustainable fashion and the preservation of textile heritage.

The Cotsen Textile Traces Study Center, based at The George Washington University Museum and The Textile Museum, is renowned for its extensive textile collection, which includes approximately 4,000 fragments representing a vast historical range from antiquity to the modern era.
