Milan Design Week recently wrapped up on April 26, featuring a daring blend of creativity and visionary designs. A major highlight of the event was the Italian fashion label Moncler, which commandeered the legendary concept store 10 Corso Como. This transformation was accentuated by a massive inflatable pink octopus, embodying the lively summer spirit of the brand\u2019s “Puffy Summer” initiative.<\/p>\n
The “Puffy Summer” initiative, drawing inspiration from Moncler\u2019s famed puffer jackets, unveils a range of lighter, layered outerwear designed for the warmer months. This collection is artistically illustrated by a collection of whimsical, inflatable animal sculptures crafted by set designer Andy Hillman and his devoted crew. The design includes an eye-catching octopus, whale, lobster, seahorse, crab, and flamingo, each echoing the collection’s bright color scheme, symbolically reshaping well-known sea creatures into eye-catching puffy figures.<\/p>\n
At the 10 Corso Como pop-up, the notable giant octopus offered a warm greeting with its dramatically oversized, puffy tentacles spilling from the store\u2019s windows, balconies, and rooftop. Inside, the playful being intertwined its limbs around 24 mannequins dressed in Moncler\u2019s Summer Collection.<\/p>\n
The octopus\u2019s adventure is poised to carry on, relocating to Seoul\u2019s Seongsu district from May 1 to 3. There, a robust octopus will wrap around a building facade, inviting passersby into a captivating underwater experience. Within the venue, Moncler\u2019s “Puffy Summer” creatures will be showcased along with an extensive display of the collection.<\/p>\n
