On September 8, 2025, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) inaugurated its inaugural international bookstore in the Dosan Park district of Seoul. This groundbreaking venue, launched in partnership with Hyundai Card, features more than 1,100 meticulously selected books that emphasize art, design, and architecture, reflecting MoMA’s prestigious collection. The layout of the store contrasts a minimalist gray-toned section for books with a lively room that displays design items, resulting in a distinctive shopping experience. This bookstore represents a notable achievement in the enduring collaboration between MoMA and Hyundai Card, which has encompassed many exhibitions and projects designed to promote cultural exchange between New York and Korea. The bookstore is accessible to the public every day, with the exception of Mondays.
