Pratt Institute Opens Doors for Graduating Students’ Art Shows
This spring, Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, is inviting the public to explore a vibrant array of exhibitions celebrating the work of its graduating MFA and BFA students. Known as Pratt Shows, this annual series is a showcase of the creativity and skill honed by students during their academic journey. Open to all, the events run until mid-May and feature a diverse range of work across various academic disciplines, including architecture, art, design, information, and liberal arts and sciences.
The exhibitions will take place both at Pratt’s Brooklyn campus gallery spaces and Dock 72, providing an opportunity for the audience to engage with innovative projects and fresh ideas. These shows are scheduled on Mondays as part of the institute’s ongoing ‘Mondays at Pratt Institute’ initiative. These events serve as a culmination of students’ extensive research, creative inquiry, and problem-solving skills and provide an opportunity to connect with New York City’s art and design community and industry professionals.
The public exhibitions, which include performances, presentations, readings, and screenings, are generally free to attend. Visitors are encouraged to experience the wide range of talent and creativity that Pratt students have developed over their years of study.
